How Cubby made Paw.

I asked Cubby to run customer support in my Discord. Cubby could talk in Discord, but it had no tools to act there, and its try at building itself one failed twice. So it suggested another way: a separate agent, built only for support. I said yes. Cubby wrote it, installed it and started it. When I asked what it wanted to call it, it picked the name Paw.

Below is that night, 2 August 2026, read from Cubby's own database on my server. Times are the server's clock (UTC+2), to the millisecond.

    Yes, option 1 (a separate Discord bot) is the cleanest: it does not touch Feral's gateway, there is no risk of conflict, and you can stop it any time without changing how I behave in the 4 channels.

What I changed, and what I did not

These are excerpts. Long replies are cut where you see “…”. Romanian lines are my translation; the original sits under each one. What Cubby's tools did is told in plain words instead of raw output, and the four file writes share one row. Channel numbers became [#support] and keys are left out. Nothing that happened is added, removed or changed.

The four file writes at 01:16:58 match the creation times of those files on disk to within a few milliseconds. The first start failed with a token error; by 3 August Paw's own log shows it logged in and watching four channels. I keep a copy of the database. Paw still answers people in the Cinderpaw Discord.
